Founded in 2022 by a team of engineers and music enthusiasts, Egghead aims to deliver an uncompromising listening experience. Ideal for mixing, mastering, or immersive listening. Our over-ear models come equipped with large-aperture drivers and plush noise-isolating earcups to provide an expansive soundstage. Choose from open-back and closed-back designs.
On-Ear DJ Headphones
With ultra-wide frequency response and swiveling earcups, our on-ear DJ headphones are built for cuing tracks in the club or studio. The lightweight, collapsible design also makes them perfect for travel and commuting.
In-Ear Earbuds
Discreet, portable earbuds that deliver detailed sound across the spectrum. Available in both wired and wireless Bluetooth versions. The angled drivers are perfectly contoured to the human ear for all-day comfort.
Sustainability and Social Responsibility
At Egghead, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint across every stage of the production process. We use recycled and sustainably-sourced materials whenever possible. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and plastic-free.
We also partner with non-profits that provide music education programs to underserved youth. A portion of each sale goes towards empowering the next generation of music creators and aficionados.
Our Design Process
Concept and Prototype
Every new Egghead headphone starts with an idea. Our design team sketches concepts and 3D prints working prototypes to evaluate ergonomics and acoustics. This iterative process continues until we achieve the ideal form.
Tuning and Refinement
Next we put the prototypes through extensive listening tests across a range of musical genres. Our engineers meticulously tune the drivers while gathering feedback from audiophiles. We repeat this tuning process until the sound quality meets our exacting standards.
Pre-Production Testing
Before ramping up to full-scale manufacturing, we produce a small test batch to catch any issues early. We rigorously test these units for any points of failure and send them out for real-world testing with select audiophiles.
Launch and Continuous Improvement
Even after a product launches, we rely on customer feedback and reviews to inform ongoing quality and design improvements. Our goal is to always be innovating and enhancing the listening experience.

Egghead is comprised of dedicated audiophiles, engineers, and designers. While we come from diverse backgrounds, we all share a deep passion for music and sound quality.
Founders
Our two founders met while studying music production in college. After graduating, they decided to combine their engineering and business skills to create no-compromise headphones true audio enthusiasts could appreciate.
Engineers
Our engineering team has over 50 years of combined experience designing headphones and audio equipment. Whether developing new driver technology or inventing better headband padding, they relentlessly push the boundaries of what’s sonically possible.
Designers
Our talented industrial design team gives each headphone its signature aesthetic. They use a combination of vintage and contemporary influences to create looks that are both timeless and modern. No detail goes overlooked, from the sleek lines to the tactile controls.
Customer Support
Our US-based support team strives to deliver prompt, friendly assistance. They work hard to ensure every customer’s complete satisfaction and are always ready to answer questions or provide recommendations.
Our Headquarters
We’re proud to design, engineer, and assemble all our headphones at our 20,000 sq. ft. headquarters located in Nashville, TN. While challenging at times, keeping everything under one roof allows for tighter quality control and rapid prototyping.
